During the after-school period, the older students work on what they enjoy. However, since the time is limited, they make plans—such as the case in cooking, where they prepare one day, then cook the next.
At the request of the international student, they made takoyaki. It was the student’s first time trying takoyaki, and they happily said, “It’s delicious!” They have also been trying their hand at making sweets. They seemed very satisfied, saying, “It turned out great!”

The days are getting shorter, and students are leaving a bit earlier. After school, they spend their time either working on their inquiry projects in Future Design or studying their regular subjects.
Watering the Pentas
At the end of September, students visited Futaba Mirai Gakuen for a school tour and hands-on experience. The Pentas they planted during that visit are now placed in front of the school entrance. Two students from junior high school are in charge of watering them. Some students who are involved in growing flowers as part of Future Design said, “We water them every day,” showing their proactive attitude in taking care of the plants.

The torn-paper artwork made in Kusunoki this month was Halloween-themed!
