In calligraphy classes, first and second-grade students are working on hard-pen writing.
They concentrated on their tasks while receiving advice from their teachers.
During the Tanabata Exhibition, the students used pencils, but this time they are writing with pens designed for hard-pen calligraphy.

At the end of November, the Furusato Creation Studies Summit was held, and the inquiry-based learning activities in Future Design reached a milestone.
Students reflected on their learning over the past year.
From January, they will start again, thinking about whether to continue and deepen their current topics or begin exploring new ones.

Seventh and eighth-grade students took the second achievement test.
They worked through the questions without giving up.
Students’ Reflections
- “While taking the test, I realized there were things I had forgotten to review.”
- “It was more difficult than I expected. I learned which areas I am weak in, so I want to review them.”
- “I studied for two hours a day. I think I was able to show what I have learned.”
- “I felt confident in social studies and science. Next time, I want to focus more on math and English, and manage my time better.”
- “I think I did my best. I felt confident in Japanese, but the math graphs were difficult.”
- “I couldn’t study according to my plan, so next time I want to follow my study plan.”
- “I’m glad that I can do more than I could on the last test.”
- “I felt confident in English. Next time, I want to focus on social studies.”
- “I was able to concentrate.”
- “I want to study math more.”
- “When I checked my answers, I found some careless mistakes. Next time, I want to reduce them.”

Across all grades and subjects, students reviewed and summarized their learning from the second semester.
While talking with their teachers, they decided on their assignments for the winter vacation.
During the Christmas and New Year holidays, we hope that students will enjoy time with their families and reflect on how much they have grown and how hard they have worked.
