Students in Grades 7–9 took part in a “Real Meet the World” activity during their English class. Three guests from the United States and Switzerland were invited, and the students interacted with them in the English classroom. After greetings, the 8th grade students challenged themselves by giving a presentation they had prepared. Following a Q&A session with the guests, the students broke into small groups for discussions.

Reflections
- “I presented first and was very nervous, but I was happy because it went well. I think meeting in person is better than online. I’m looking forward to the next time.”
- “I spoke with them in person. I was able to talk more than I expected, and it was fun.”
- “The 8th grade students gave a presentation about using the internet. I was very nervous. At first, I was worried about how it would go, but it turned out well. I was happy when a Grade 7 student told me, ‘You did a great job.’ The person from Canada in my group was kind and funny, so it was enjoyable. I think it’s good to meet people in person from now on.”
- “I gained the ability to express myself and take action.”
- “I was surprised at how good their Japanese was. I’m glad the presentation went well.”
【Lighting a Small Bulb】
In the 3rd grade science class, students conducted experiments on electric circuits.
“When we connect the wires, the bulb lights up.”
“What happens if we separate the wires?”
“It doesn’t light up, but when we attach two wires to the clip, it lights up!”
The students assembled the circuits themselves, inserted batteries, and tested different ways to see when the bulb would light up and when it wouldn’t, learning through hands-on trial and error.

The quail in the science lab is happily drinking water. Thanks to the students who take care of them every day, the quail remain healthy. Caring for living things comes with responsibility, and the students work together every day without forgetting their duties.

During the morning cleaning time, the quail go out for a little walk♪
