March Has Arrived!
Here are some snapshots of the children’s daily activities recently.
First, a scene from a relay race.
The runners are doing their best, and the children cheering for them are just as enthusiastic!

It’s the March birthday celebration, called the “Koguma no Kai.”
Everyone was enjoying snacks together. They used their chairs as small tables while eating. The green apple jelly had frozen a little, and the children were laughing about it.

In the front, you can see a sandwich made with dominoes by another child. Seeing that, one child said, “I want to try too!” and carefully started stacking the dominoes to make his own.





Everyone is moving their bodies energetically.

This is Ninja Training!
Kusano Designer from the compulsory education school was the “master.” The children practiced hard all year to become ninjas, and recently they received their certificate of mastery from their master.

This is a scene from our weekly “Let’s Play English” activity.
For the last session of the year, they played “Ben Says ○○.”
If Ben says, “Ben says jump,” everyone jumps.
But if he only says “Jump,” they must not move!
The children needed to listen carefully to play this game. They actively communicated in both English and Japanese.

Catching insects? No, not in winter.

The answer is collecting pinecones!
They were trying to get pinecones from the tops of trees. Shaking the trunk didn’t make them fall… so they had an idea—use a bug-catching net!

Very energetic and resourceful!
Here they are digging in the hill. After recent rain and snow, the soil became soft, and the children started digging where there used to be a tunnel in the small hill built by the compulsory education school. This has only just begun, so we are excited to see what it will become.


They also brought cardboard boxes outside to build houses (secret bases) and played picnic pretend-play.
Leaves became sandwiches, and brown pinecones were used to make “chocolate” after getting them from the Nashi Group and breaking them apart.


In the evening, while waiting for their parents to pick them up, the children play with toys that are not usually used during the day—such as puzzles, LEGO, LaQ, board games, and educational toys.
(From 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. they play in the classroom. After that, they wait in the Tane room.)
How many days are left for the children of the “Ha” class to play together?
Practice for the graduation ceremony has already begun. We hope to cherish each and every day the children spend together.
