The forecast today stated that the highest temperature in Fukushima reached 36 degrees. The seaside town of Okuma was also scorchingly hot. The 5-7th grade students were very tired from their school trip. They brought back a lot of stories, and souvenirs from Tokyo.
In the note article that Kodomoen uploaded yesterday, all the students played with water during recess, not just the nursery school students. We all had fun together.

In the 1st grade students enviromental studies class, todays subject was “Looking for flowers and insects around the school”. The sun made everything hot, but thats why the flowers and grass were doing so well.

The 3rd grade students observed caterpillars in science class. The janitor took them from cabbages, and they observed them. They were impressed by their fluffy texture.

At noon today, Ms. K, a 2nd grade student, headed to see the town mayor, to report that she had won an award. She received a commemorative Ochan Koboshi from the mayor. She proudly read out the winning slogan, which was very admirable.

5-7th grade students had drama classes. They played a game called: “How fast can you read a sentence aloud with a lot of “Pigs”?” and learnt more about acting.

The actual performance is still a long way off. What kind of theatre projects will be created after now? We are looking forward to it.
