The students in grades 5-9 made their schedules for Friday, they do this every Thursday. If a student wishes to study more of a subject, they ask the appropriate teacher, what their schedule is, and plan their schedule accordingly.
Today, the fifth graders wanted to do some calligraphy, this would be their first time this year. Most of our materials are still in Aizu, so we had to make do with what we have, they were being very careful to get their brush strokes correct.
The 5-7th grade students are going on a group trip, so they discussed the purpose of the trip, and if there was any health concerns.

Today, 1-3rd grade students planted sweet potatoes.
A student from second grade said to the sweet potatoes “I’ll take care of you until autumn!”. They have just started growing, but we are looking forward to the day we harvest them.
