It’s finally March, and this week there is “snow”! Heavy snow has fallen. It’s rare for it to snow in Okuma Town. On the morning of the day it snowed, the children were excited and restless, saying “I want to play in the snow!” The next day, they played in the snow, but the melted snow was frozen solid.

On the day of the prefectural high school entrance exam, the junior high school students successfully completed the third practical test. (There are no photos, but the students were calm as they took the test.)
~Reflection~
・”It was difficult, but I did my best.”
・”In social studies, there was a question that required me to write in kanji, and even though I understood it, I couldn’t write it in kanji. I want to be able to do that.”
・”I couldn’t do it at all this time. I didn’t have enough time to study, so I want to improve.”
・”In English, I was in a hurry because I was checking the time, and I couldn’t read the sentences. I need to train my mental side as well. I was glad that I was able to answer the social studies questions in kanji. I studied while being aware of my weak points. I studied the math questions, but there were some gaps, so I would like to study a little more. I would like to be able to write in kanji in all subjects and solve difficult problems.”
During lunch break, other students were able to “control a robot”, which the sixth graders had previously experienced. As part of the programming, the data of the robots operated by the children was being collected.

It’s easy to operate because it’s similar to a game console controller. “When the sensor detects an obstacle, and stops, it’s difficult to adjust”, and “It sometimes doesn’t work the way I want it to, but it was fun.”
As March begins, time seems to pass even faster. Next week is the graduation ceremony, and the week after that is the closing ceremony. I hope everyone stays healthy and can finish the year feeling refreshed.

The decorations have been changed in preparation for the farewell party for the 9th grade students and the 3.11 memorial gathering.
