It has been a month since the new “Me” (Sprout) Room opened. The five members of the “Budo(Grape)” Class, who were confused about their new room, and the six members of the “Momo(Peach)” Class, who are happy to have made new friends, are starting to show their individual personalities, crying, laughing, getting angry, sulking, and having a lively time.

So, let me introduce you to “Me” Room in 2025.

The “Momo” Class has only just raised up the soil, but thanks to being relying from others, the sprouts of older brothers and sisters are about to sprout. We are sure they will grow into great peach sprouts in a year.

Now, speaking of the “Budo” Class, the children have just turned two years old. There is a term for this age, the “devilish twos”, as the seeds of independence begin to appear and they toy with adults. Sansho peppers are small and spicy, and this year’s seeds for the Budo Class seem to be quite stimulating. What kind of sprouts will they produce? It’s exciting.

Next, let’s take a look at them playing a little.

It rained the night before, so the children walked barefoot on the wet terrace, enjoying the stamp-like footprints they made, and then they started drawing with water using paintbrushes and brushes. The masterpieces that the little artists were so engrossed in creating fade over time, but they still enjoyed that.

On warm days, insects and small animal friends also come to visit. They gently placed “Kanachoro” on both hands and interacted with it with great interest. Before returning to the room, they reluctantly let it go.

They made tiaras whilst indoors and put them on their heads, one ran to the toilet, so I followed her and thought, “Huh? Is she going to pee?” She checked herself in the mirror. She looked at herself from different angles, and finished by winking at the mirror. Whose heart did she win?

Before the long weekend, Momo and Budo Classes planted cherry tomato seeds. Once the seeds sprouted, we started watering them more vigorously, so much so that the tomato sprouts were drowning, but they are growing well.

This is how things are in the “Me” room every day. I’ll be writing about the growth of the children and the tomatoes with enjoyment, so I hope it gives you a chuckle.
