As some of the children are interested in animals, as part of their future design lessons, they interacted with the animals at “Animal Forest – Utsushi no Mori” in Tamura City.

This time, they came to the parking lot of Yumenomori as a mobile zoo. Currently, a quail is being raised in the science lab at Yumenomori. They were started as part of the Future Design (Nature Lab) two years ago, and are looked after by a child in charge every day.

The animals are looked after by voluntary animal caretakers.

We enjoyed interacting with rabbits, baby goats, lambs, guinea pigs, pigs and turtles.

~Thoughts~
・”They were so cute. But I felt a little sorry for them having everyone touch them.”
・”There were guinea pigs, a goat, a sheep, and a black pig. It was my first time touching a sheep, and they were so fluffy and soft to the touch.”
・”I was able to spend a long time interacting with animals that I normally can’t touch. We all followed the rules and were able to touch them. Apparently it’s best not to touch the rabbits’ ears too much. I’d like them to come again.”
・”It was my first time seeing guinea pigs, so I was glad I got to see them. They were fluffy and seemed to have a gentle personality.”
