The sports festival is just around the corner. The Yume-Olympics is a fast-paced and exciting event! It has 10 events, including kindergarten events, and is a competition that truly evokes the image of “connection and expansion.” After receiving an explanation of the events during a whole school physical education class, the children tried the events. They split into three teams, red, white, and yellow, and thought about which event they would participate in.

Nice and calm like the eye of the storm, so that the balls on both ends do not fall.
The new event, “Book Carrying Race,” is inspired by “Okuma, the town where books are born,” and participants pile up and carry books collected by children at kindergartens.
Playing catch using colored cones
Run the Swedish Derby with a portable horse shrine.
Use the stick to roll the ball

In addition to this, there will be a “target shoot” where you throw a ball to knock down a board, and a “cracker” that will be rang when all the competitions are over and the goal is reached. On the day, we hope that local people will participate in the competitions together with the children and experience “connection and expansion.”

The students participated in the table tennis tournament. They practiced in the morning, during lunch breaks, after school, and even outside of school. “We’ll do our best. Our goal is to participate in the prefectural tournament,” they announced at the end of school assembly the day before the tournament.
