The 4th grade students went to make pottery. We went to “Ceramics Class Katachi” in Iwaki http://catachi.net/. We are grateful for their help ♪ It was the first time for most of the children to experience pottery, so they looked very excited.

“It was my first time doing it and it was fun. It was difficult, but I was surprised at how pretty the colours were.”

“It was my first time making something. The clay used wasn’t the kind you would use at school, it was amazing. I’m not sure if the clay will turn out colourful, but I’m looking forward to it!”

“It was fun to choose the colours. Pottery is interesting.”
