We are slowly seeing more and more children wearing short sleeves, the first grade students are getting used to school life, and classes have begun in earnest for each grade. The first open school day was held in late April. Thank you to all the parents who came.
The first and second grade students were full of energy and active in the arena, getting some exercise with their parents.

The first and second grade students are having a joint physical education class. Teachers and parents are also joining in and taking part in a tug-of-war!
Rolling the big ball
A mini spring-version of sports day was held before the actual sports festival.

The 3rd to 6th grade students had a joint math class. They were able to progress at their own pace and set their own goals. The children were able to focus on their own learning. They were watching over by their parents and seemed nervous, but I think they were able to show that they are doing their best.

The 7th to 9th grade students took science, Japanese and social studies classes. They deepened their learning by using ICT as necessary. In science class, students went outside to observe plants and summarized their observations in the science lab. In Japanese class, students created materials for presentations on tablets. The presentation date was set, so students were able to proceed with a sense of foresight. In social studies class, students learned about history and also confirmed geographical backgrounds.

After the class observation, the parents exchanged opinions on how to cooperate with the school and parents. By sharing our wishes, we are moving forward toward collaboration.
