During lunchtime, it was Ukiki Watching♪ (Luchtime meeting)— the long-awaited “Lunch, Good Time!” returned!
Since it was Bento Day, everyone gathered around the book plaza to enjoy their meals together.

This time, we welcomed Nanchan, who is originally from Okuma Town. She helps plan and prepare local events and supports new residents who have moved to the town. She’s also talented at drawing illustrations — in fact, she created the artwork for the pamphlet when Yumenomori Wedding was held.

She shared that what she values most in her work is “doing things that make people around me happy.”
She always thinks about what kind of events would bring joy to the townspeople and works with that in mind.

Her message to everyone at Yumenomori was:

“Even if you weren’t born in Okuma, I hope you’ll grow to love the town enough to call it your hometown.”

She said she was happy to meet everyone during after-school hours and town events, and she hopes that the children will always remember that they grew up in Okuma.

We felt the passion and love for Okuma Town — thank you so much.

【Pottery Challenge ~Kusunoki~】
During art class, students rolled and kneaded clay to create their own pottery pieces.

In front of the craft studio, there was a Jomon pottery display!
