After 72 days, the first term came to an end today.
At our school, we held the closing ceremony.

Message from the GM
“At Yumenomori, each person is the main character. As we reflect on the first term with the perspective of “valuing myself, valuing you, and creating the future together,” we hope students will connect this mindset to their summer vacation and the second term.
Please spend the 37 days of summer break enjoying time with your family and community, making wonderful memories. We look forward to seeing everyone healthy and energetic at the opening ceremony of the second term!”

Excerpt from the Student Representative’s Speech
“There are many good things, like deciding how to approach classes on my own and being able to ask teachers right away when I have questions.
My favorite memory is the Sports Festival. Especially at the Yume-Lympics, I took part in the Typhoon Eye event. I remember feeling happy when I was able to spin well and how we encouraged each other to do our best
During summer vacation, I want to challenge myself with many new things and have a great break.”

“My goal for school life was to greet others proactively.
In the mornings, when I come to school and go upstairs to the second floor, I made sure to say “Good morning.”
I was able to greet my teachers, so from now on, I want to focus on greeting many different people.
During summer vacation, I plan to go camping in Yamanashi Prefecture, enjoy activities related to my favorite things at home, and go out to make fun memories.”

The student guidance teacher gave a talk about how to spend the summer vacation.
We reviewed important safety tips, especially regarding heatstroke, water accidents, and the use of social media.
After that, students split into their respective grades for homeroom activities and cleaning duties.

The long summer vacation is about to begin. Please prioritize your health and safety, and make many wonderful memories!

Preparing for the February Study Trip
To decide on the training destination, each student gave a presentation about the place they want to visit.
We hope students will deepen their individual research through “encounters with the real thing.”

CPR Training
As part of teacher training, we invited staff from the Futaba Fire Station to conduct a workshop.
We learned how to use an EpiPen and an AED, along with important safety points.
We also practiced chest compressions and rescue breathing.
By working together and confirming with each other, we emphasized that staying calm is essential in emergency situations.
