March and April are the season of meetings and farewells, and for the students it is also the season when they advance to the next grade, so it has a unique atmosphere.

Our last class was held to be a summary of the year that has passed. It was also the last drama class (4C) to improve expressiveness. In the third term, 4C students chose a scene they wanted to act out from the script of “Memory Forest”. They practiced their chosen scene, and presented it, after arranging it themselves. They changed the lines according to their own interpretation and presented each scene.

We also held the final session of the year for “Meet the World”, where we connected and communicated with people from all over the world via Zoom. The last three countries were Iran, Zambia, and Sri Lanka. Students from grades 1 to 4 introduced themselves in English and gave a presentation showing photos of Okuma Town. This was the final session where we connected with the world through our own efforts. We will start again in April ♪

And thank you for the delicious school lunches over the past year. The last week is lunch boxes. The children tried their best to eat school lunches even if they didn’t like certain foods. We look forward to seeing you again in April♪.
