Kiokunomori (Memory Forest)

On Wednesday, March 26th, the children returned to Okuma Town after two successful performances at Space Zero, one in the afternoon and one in the evening. I think it was a once-in-a-lifetime special experience for both the children and the adults. Rehearsals for the play took place after school, and before the show, staff in charge of costumes, art, and props were working in Yumenomori. The children persevered through their rehearsals under a different kind of tension than the November play. Thank you so much for all your hard work♪

This is a look at the dress rehearsal and practice at the venue!

This is the rally before the afternoon performance on March 26th!

Many teachers from Yume no Mori came to support the afternoon performance!

After the matinee and evening performances on March 26th, the children gave a surprise bouquet of flowers to the teacher who had been leading the theater up until now!

The Tokyo performance was a great success thanks to the efforts of everyone involved, including the children, parents, teachers, and stage staff. The performance that everyone created together was truly moving. I hope that they will continue to work hard in their respective places, keeping in their hearts the memories they have here and the words “friendship, courage, and encouragement for one another.” Thank you so much for all your hard work!!
