The sports festival was held under clear skies. It was hotter than expected, but the children were able to finish the event with lots of smiles on their faces. We owe it all to the fathers who helped with the preparations from early in the morning, the mothers who were diligent in preparing drinks and other items to prevent heatstroke, as well as the grandparents, uncles, and aunties who came to see their grandchildren, nephews, and nieces perform bravely. And we owe it all to the local community. Thank you very much. The Grape class in the “Me” room only participated in one event, but they had a lot of fun with their parents. The Peach class, which started their preschool classes this year, did their best to participate right up to the final Bon Odori dance. We have posted some photos of just a few of them.

I’m a little nervous (;^ω^).

“I wonder if it’s our turn yet?” “Isn’t it about time?”

Be sure to do your warm-up exercises thoroughly.

“Mom! Faster!”

“Yay daddy!”

“Let’s do our best!” “Yay!!!”

The final performance was a Bon Odori dance. As expected from our designers at Yumenomori, they were in perfect sync.
