How was your summer vacation?

Thank you very much for your cooperation during the Obon holiday break.

I played with Grandma and Grandpa.

I went to Disney!

I went to a festival. I ate shaved ice, watched fireworks… and also…

The children couldn’t stop talking about all the fun memories from their summer vacation.

During the break, the “Ha” class spent time together in one room, with the Peach group (3-year-olds), Apple group (4-year-olds), and Pear group (5-year-olds).

The Peach group children were eager to do the same activities as the older ones. Sometimes they felt frustrated and even cried when they couldn’t do something, but the older children helped them and did activities together, which allowed the younger ones to grow and learn new skills.

The Apple and Pear groups wanted to show how “cool” they were. They worked hard, helped take care of the younger children, and really showed the spirit of being the big brothers and sisters of the kindergarten.

We feel so happy to see how much the children have grown—both at school and at home—over the summer.

For the second semester, we will continue spending our days together in the same classroom with the Peach, Apple, and Pear groups, just as we did during the summer vacation. Thank you for your understanding.

On Monday, August 25th, we held the opening ceremony from a little after 9 o’clock.
The vice principal read us the story “Fluffy Words and Prickly Words.” We learned that if we feel like saying “prickly words,” we can try changing them into “fluffy words.” That way, playing together becomes more fun, and we can make more friends.

In the second semester, we are looking forward to many events such as the performance day and plays. Let’s enjoy our time with friends, using lots of “fluffy words.”
