Following the opening ceremony, school life resumed the next day. Some children were excited about their new textbooks, while others were surprised at the amount of textbooks they had. Their lockers and shoe cupboards were also in new locations, and they seemed to realize that they had been promoted to the next grade.
During the annual self-introduction time, students talked about their interests and hobbies. The number of students in the second semester was higher than last year, making the class more lively. Students were seen sharing their thoughts, saying things like, “I like anime,” “I like manga,” and “Actually, I like fishing.”
This is also the annual Yumenomori tour. We showed the school building. It was a reliable sight to see the second grade students walking hand in hand with first grade. After the tour, they played dodgeball in the gymnasium.
