The third-term classes have now begun in earnest.
During the winter break, many children wrote goals such as “exercise,” “work hard on math,” and “practice vocabulary.”
Although things did not always go according to plan during the break, the children were able to review their schedules and adjust their plans as needed.

As the children flipped through their textbooks, some noticed, “We’re almost finished!”
There is only a little left in both the textbooks and workbooks.
The third term is a time to wrap things up, but it is also a time to start thinking about the text school year.
We also heard children say, “It’s been a while since I really moved mu body!”
In P.E. class, we have been working on racket sports such as tennis and badminton.
Everyone worked up a good sweat and enjoyed being active again.

〜Winter Break Memories〜
・I went on a hot spring trip by limited express train. I enjoyed the hot springs, both in the morning and during the day.
・I got together with my friends, and played badminton. It was nice to be able to move my body.
・I went to a shrine for the first visit of the year, and ate taiyaki and croquettes at a food stall. They were delicious.
・I went shopping in Iwaki.
・Nothing special happened, but I spent calm and peaceful days.
・I visited a newly opened theme park.
〜Goals for the 3rd term〜
・Go to bed early, and wake up early
・Eat breakfast every morning
・Keep studying, as I have been doing
・Study in a planned way for tests
・Do my best in my favourite activities
The other 49 school days for students in grades 1 to 8 in the third term, it may seem short, but it looks like it will be a busy, and meaningful term.
