[Interacting with horses]
Today, we had time to interact with the horses who came to Momi no Kien. These are fine horses that have experience as racehorses in the past. Children and adults alike shouted, “It’s a horse!” “It’s a horse!” We were able to interact with little Bonnie, and everyone was able to touch and stroke the horse’s coat.

Furthermore, this time, they wore helmets and had a horseback riding experience. Horses are tall enough for adults to look up at. After everyone was done riding timidly, their eyes were sparkling with wonder from the new view they experienced from the back of a horse.

Coming into contact with Bonnie, everyone was moved by the feeling of touching the horse. The softness of the nose and the feeling of the fur. Some of the children snuggled up to Bonnie’s body and were enchanted, saying “It feels good!”

Also this time, they were treated to watermelon and jucie by the courtesy of Momi no kien. Thank you very much to everyone at Momi no kien!

[1st and 2nd grade students playing in the water]
Today, the 1st and 2nd grade students played in the water. When I asked them if I could get them something to play with, they said “Water guns!” They sprayed their friends with water guns, ran around so they wouldnt get hit, and in the end, everyone was soaked. The amazing thing about the 1st and 2nd grade students is that they made up the rules of the game themselves. We considered the necessary conditions and rules to make the game fun, such as “Isn’t it okay to play in 3 minutes?” I would like to put together a video of the situation and introduce it again in another note. I’m looking forward to what kind of play we’ll do with water next time!

[2nd and 3rd year Kusunoki class (life studies)]
We are continuing to explore the town. It makes me happy to see that the exchanges with local people deepen each time. Today, the main purpose was to collect the Tanabata strips that we gave them last time. We received everyones wishes, interacted with the animals in each house, and headed back to school.

[3rd grade students]
We are happy to say that we have had more opportunites to receive business cards while interacting with local residents and visitors. We created business card cases to treat them carefully, including our own business cards! It seems that some other grades are also making business card cases. Many encounters are waiting for everyone from now on. I hope that new exchanges will be born by carrying the business card case with you.
