[A request from our 9th grade students]
Currently our 9th grade students are studying the theme of “What can we do for everyone in the town?”. With the topic of “No matter how small” they decided to create a questionnaire for the teachers.

They chose roles for each other, with one in charge of creating the questionnaire on Google Forms, and the other composing the questionnaire. This took several hours to prepare. It seems that they were stumped by the topic.

↑You can reply to this form. Please let us know your various opinions. The questionnaire may be titled “Teachers”, but the general public, and people inside and outside of town are also welcome to answer. We look forward to hearing from you, the students, and the staff.

Whatever the result of this may be, the goal is currently not in sight. We want to expand our thoughts on what we think in Okuma, and are taking inspiration from everyones ideas.

The seeds the first grade students planted have sprouted! Its raining today, so we took pictures and observed them in the classroom.

When you zoom in, you can see things you can’t normally see with the naked eye. When you look closely, you can see the small buds growing between leaves.

We wrote down what we noticed in each photo. There were many discoveries, such as it “being smooth”, “Looking like a butterfly” and “the colour is green but it also has red”.

We want to continue learning about the process of growth, from bud to a blooming flower.
