Four children who love books (they call themselves Yumenomori Library Committee members!) gathered in the Book Plaza and read picture books to the children.
They chose a book and practiced for this day.
They imagined the children at the kindergarten who would be listening, and made efforts such as reading slowly and showing the pictures clearly. Depending on the picture book, they tried singing or using props… It’s nice to see them trying to make the children happy!
At the end, they performed a dance that is popular on SNS! “I’ve seen it before!” “I know it!” Children who can dance also jumped in and participated. The event ended with smiles and laughter.
There are many caring older brothers and sisters at Yumenomori’s compulsory education school.
It was a time when we could feel their desire to entertain the children at the kindergarten.
