総合的な学習の時間である『未来デザインの時間』
ゆめの森では3年生から9年生が一人一人が自分の「好き」に向き合い、個人やグループで探究活動をしています。
今年最初の未来デザインの時間。
今年は20人ほどの転校生を迎え、新しい仲間とともにスタートしました。
「何をしようかな？」
「これ前からやってみたかったんだよね」
友達と話しながら考える子、すでに作り始めている子、じっくり自分の“好き”と向き合っている子。
ゆめの森の校舎全体を使い、時には学校を出て、それぞれ違う探究の種が少しずつ生まれています。
ある子は琴の演奏に興味を持ち、ある子は手作りのフライパンを作る準備を始めました。
同じ時間でも、過ごし方は一人一人違います。
未来デザインでは、子どもたちの「やってみたい」を大切にしながら、それぞれの探究を深めていきます。
これからどんな学びや出会いが生まれていくのか、今から楽しみです。
[Daily Records] Future Design Has Begun!
“Future Design Time” — Our Integrated Learning Program At Yumenomori, students from 3rd to 9th grade face their own unique passions, diving into personal or group inquiry-based learning.
This week marked our very first Future Design session of the year. With around 20 transfer students joining us this term, we took our first steps alongside many wonderful new peers.
“What should I do today?” “I’ve been wanting to try this for so long!”
The campus was alive with energy: some children brainstormed and laughed with friends, some were already hands-on with building their projects, and others quietly reflected to connect with what they truly love. Utilizing the entire Yumenomori school building—and sometimes even stepping out into the local community—different “seeds of inquiry” are beginning to sprout, one by one.
For instance, one student sparked an interest in playing the koto (traditional Japanese harp), while another began gathering materials to craft a handmade frying pan.
Even within the exact same timeframe, no two students spend it the same way. In our Future Design program, we deeply value each child’s inner curiosity—their “I want to try that!”—as we guide and deepen their individual journeys of discovery.
We cannot wait to see what kind of learning, breakthroughs, and beautiful encounters will unfold from here!
